How To Reset Your Instagram Password: By following any of the methods below, you can reset your lost Instagram passwords. After resetting, make sure you use something that can be easily remembered but not too simple for hackers to hack. 


Recover Your Password Using Your Username
You can recover your password using your Instagram username, to do this;
  1. Start by launching the Instagram app and tapping Forgot password?
  2. On the next display, tap the Username tab, and then enter your Instagram username or the email address connected to the Instagram account. If you can’t remember either of these, then you will need to use another method.
  3. Once the information is entered tap Send Login Link:
  4. A mail will be sent to your email address connected to Instagram which contains the reset password link. Follow this link in the email, and you will be taken to a page that will prompt you to enter a new password.
  5. Enter your new password and save changes

Recover Your Password via SMS
  1. You can as well use SMS to reset your password on Instagram, if you are using an Android device. Simply open the Instagram app, and on the login screen, tap Get help signing in. Tap the Send an SMS option.
  2. An SMS will be sent to the number connected to your Instagram account. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the message to reset your password.

Recover Your Account via Facebook
Another option that can be used to reset your Instagram password is to reset it though your Facebook account.
  1. On the login screen, tap either Get help signing in, at the bottom of the pop up screen, select Log in with Facebook.
  2. Then you will be asked to allow Instagram to connect you using your Facebook account, simply select Continue
If you are not connected before, you have to enter your Facebook login details and you are in again.
