How do I add a link to a website, Page, group, or person in my note on Facebook?

 

To add a link to a website in your note:

1. Highlight the text you want to add a link to
2. Click Link
3. Enter the URL and press Enter (PC) or Return (Mac) on your keyboard

To mention a person in your note:

1. Type their name with a capitalized first letter
2. Click their name in the dropdown menu

To mention a Page or group in your note:

1. Type "@" and then its name
2. Select its name from the dropdown menu

When a person, Page or group is mentioned in your note, a link is created. Keep in mind that the person, Page or group's privacy settings may not allow everyone in your note's audience to see the link (ex: if a post mentions a secret group, only that group's members can see the link).

The person, Page or group you mention may get a notification, and the note will appear on their timeline.
