They offer competitive rates at 0.01% APY. There is a minimum deposit amount of $25 to open an account and $0 for new military recruits. ATM fees are $0 for USAA ATM’s, $0 for non USAA ATM’s for the first 10 withdrawals within a monthly statement cycle and $2 thereafter and USAA refunds up to $15 in other US domestic banks ATM usage fees. Deposits are easy and convenient with Deposit@Mobile by taking a picture with the mobile app, deposit capable ATM’s and select locations of the UPS store. USAA also offers free tools online and on the go like web bill pay and Apple pay and personal budgeting tools with the ability to view balances and activity for all of your accounts and even accounts from other banks. You can et up a spending plan to help you stay on track, get alerts about your spending and overdraft protection options.
Youth spending accounts are great options for children 9-13 and over. This is a joint account with the account holder so you can view and manage your child account from your account options. they are granted limited access to USAA.com. You can set spending limits and Receive text messages if your child exceeds spending limits or if their account balance is low. There is no monthly fee and there is a low $25 minimum balance due upon opening the account. They have the same options as the original USAA checking offers.
For students 17 and over, USAA offers College checking. Like the other two options, there are no monthly service fees, no minimum balance requirements, free ATMs nationwide, free direct deposits and transfers and bill payments.

Savings Accounts

There are no monthly service fees for your savings account regardless of your balance. You can use 60,000 USAA-preferred ATMs for free. Plus, if you have to use another bank’s ATM we’ll refund their bank atm fee up to $15 per monthly statement cycle. You can transfer money to any bank in the U.S. without paying a fee. You can vheck balances and transfer money from our mobile app or on usaa.com. Have the ability to deposit checks on the go. Qualifying members can deposit checks with a mobile device using Deposit@Mobile. You can set realistic goals for yourself and your dependents by using the USAA Goals Planning Tool.

Credit Cards

Using your USAA credit card you can earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase and you can redeem your cash rewards anytime on our mobile app or at usaa.com There are no caps or limits. You’ll   enjoy a 0% introductory APR on all purchases, balance transfers and convenience checks until 07/01/2017. After 07/01/2017, your Regular APR of 18.15% will apply to these introductory balances and any new transactions. Each balance transfer and convenience check has a transaction fee of up to 3%. Your 18.15% Regular APR will also apply to your cash advances immediately upon account opening. Your Regular APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. And there is no annual fee, no penalty APR and no foreign transaction fees.

Auto Loans

Auto loans are available from USAA if you qualify for 36 month terms on new cars, used cars and auto refinances. For USAA bank standard rates the APR are 1.49% for new cars, 2.75% for used cars and 1.49% for 2015 year or newer models and 2.75 for models 2014 and older. When using the USAA car buying discount the APR on new cars is 0.99% and used cars is 2.25%. When purchasing a car you can also add the extended vehicle protection plan. A manufacturer car warranty covers repairs for a certain period of time. After that, you are responsible for paying whatever repair costs come your way. You might consider extended vehicle protection if you are buying or already own a used car or are planning to keep your car longer than the basic car warranty period or are worried that an unplanned repair could negatively impact your budget.
